GIVEAWAY: Win Tickets to The Knocks & Friends feat. Mat Zo at Elsewhere!

That first full work week after the holidays always feels daunting, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Lots of lights, actually, because Brooklyn duo The Knocks are bringing their beloved “Knocks & Friends” party series to Elsewhere this Friday, January 10th. And this time, they are bringing our all-time favorite artist, Mat Zo, along with them. May the power of house music SET YOU FREE!

Last year proved to be a prolific one for The Knocks, who released a bevy of hot singles with collaborators like local synth-pop duo Great Good Fine OK, Afro-house goddess Kah-Lo and bass music’s boy wonder, Whethan. You’ll have the chance to hear all of their original heaters when they kickstart the weekend with a signature, high-energy DJ set at Bushwick’s best multi-room nightclub.

This installment’s featured friend Mat Zo (with whom they also collaborate under the side project The Mary Nixons) also crushed it in 2019. The London-born, LA-based DJ and producer released his bubbly, future house EP ‘Tracing Steps’ last spring before dishing out a string of groovy dnb-leaning productions. Mat Zo’s broad approach to music making means his sets are consistently off the hook AND always one-of-a-kind. We worship him.

So, it’s probably no surprise that advance tickets for this party are sold out, but have no fear! We’re teaming up with Elsewhere to get the word out about a last minute giveaway. Enter for your chance to win a pair of tickets to the show HERE*.

For those of you who don’t want to take your chances (we understand, btw), plan to arrive early. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door on a first come first serve basis starting at 10 PM. Elsewhere is located at 599 Johnson Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11237.

*You must be 21 or older to enter. Winner will be notified via e-mail by Friday.
