one world observatory – manhattan & brooklyn bridges

one world observatory - manhattan & brooklyn bridges

One week ago I went to the Memorial Pool for the first time.
There was a man next to me, cleaning over and over a name, inscribed on the plate of the 9/11 Memorial.
I asked him if he had known the person, whose name he kept cleaning. He said, "Yes, he was a friend, a good friend…"
I told him, that I had recorded images that eventually became a Documentary Movie, of the 9/11 event, and I wanted to say more, but emotion overcame the two of us, and all we could do was embrace and share our sorrow.
I knew people who died at 9/11, If I could only know their names, I’d be polishing their names forever.

I was recording on 9-11 2001, next to Building 7, World Trade Center, and going to the Pool brought back memories.
I also found out, the One Observatory was opening soon and I went on the second day.
What a view!
I had been to the Twin Towers Observatory and Restaurant, a long time ago.
Yesterday, all the tourists were going "gaga".
I was, in my own little world, shocked with sadness.

On September 11 2001, I was working as a journalist, recording images, next to Building 7, of the World Trade Center Complex.
Those images and many others, I Included in my Documentary Film, 911 Number Seven

At the same time, I had been working, on a Documentary Film, 111 First Street, From Paris to Jersey City, They Showed No Love.

These two films are related because, the owner of the lease of the World Trade Center, is also the owner of 111 First Street, Jersey City NJ.

These photos and my two Documentaries, are my own simple tribute, to all of the people that passed away on 9/11

111 First Street From Paris to Jersey City, they showed no love.
