St. Ann’s Church Presents “Cosmic American Music” Thursday Evening

July 11, 2021

This Thursday evening, July 8, starting at 6:00, St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Clinton and Montague streets, will present a concert by The Coolest Ranch (photo), a Brooklyn based trio who bill their sound as “Cosmic American Music.” This caught my eye because “Cosmic American Music” is the term coined by Gram Parsons to describe his “hybrid of country, rhythm and blues, soul, folk, and rock.”The concert is part of St. Ann’s summer concert series, that benefits the church’s “Pop-Up Pantry,” which provides non-perishable food and fresh produce to those in need. Donate to St. Ann’s Pop-Up Pantry to Help Those in Need

January 10, 2021

Housing Works will now move into the location that Halstead vacated at 150 Montague St., next to Francesca’s. The best switcheroo imaginable! We no longer have to trek to Park Slope to donate gently-used items to help fund Housing Works’ invaluable support of the homeless and people living with HIV. Or to find that like-new, stunning, mid-century sofa you never thought you needed, but really do…
