Brace yourselves neighbors, this year the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks return to Brooklyn Heights. The Grucci Family pyrotechnic spectacular is set to launch from the Brooklyn Bridge and four barges in the East River between Piers 1 and 6 of Brooklyn Bridge Park. The premium viewing locations are The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Dumbo’s Main/Street and Carousel area.It goes without saying massive crowds are to be expected along with street closures, parking restrictions, frozen zones, checkpoints and bag inspections.
