“Celebrate Summer” at Pierrepont Playground Wednesday

Our friends at the Brooklyn Heights Association have alerted us that there will be a “Celebrate Summer” event for kids and parents or caretakers at Pierrepont Playground (photo by C. Scales from 2013 egg hunt event) this coming Wednesday, June 16 from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. From the BHA:We are so excited that our Pierrepont Playground events can resume! Come join us for crafts, games and snacks with your friends at Pierrepont Playground. This is a free annual event celebrating the end of the school year. The party is sponsored by the BHA and organized by the tireless Pierrepont Playground committee.We hope to see you there!

Kids’ Craft Event at Brooklyn Women’s Exchange Sunday

This Sunday, April 13, the Brooklyn Women’s Exchange, 55 Pierrepont Street (between Hicks and Henry) will host a craft workshop for kids five years old and up, accompanied by a caregiver. The project will be to create lovely sachets just in time for spring; (see illustration here). Stop by anytime from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. No RSVP needed.
