A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to a series of attacks on elderly Sheepshead Bay residents on Tuesday, police say. The teen, who has not been named due to his status as a juvenile, was charged Friday with four counts of assault in the incidents, which took place during an approximately four-hour period on Tuesday, Sept. 28. Suspect sets off firework in Bed-Stuy building, smashes several cars before fleeing the scene

Authorities are looking for a suspect who attached a firework to an apartment door in Bedford-Stuyvesant early Friday morning. Members of the FDNY and NYPD responded to reports of smoke at 446 Madison St. at 7:45 am on Sept. 10, according to authorities, who say firefighters and police officers discovered that someone had set off a high-grade firework inside the apartment building. A preliminary investigation found that the suspect, who authorities would only describe as an unidentified man, also smashed 15 cars with a hatchet before he was stopped by a resident of the building. Cops say a driver fatally struck a man who may have been sleeping in a cardboard box under the Gowanus Expressway in Sunset Park last weekend. Inferno injures one and leaves over a dozen homeless in Brownsville

A blaze tore through a Brownsville home on Thursday morning, leaving one a man injured and several more people temporarily homeless, according to the FDNY. One dead, three injured, after quadruple stabbing in Sunset Park

A quadruple stabbing in Sunset Park left one man dead and another three injured Friday night. At around 9:21 pm on Feb. 26, police responded to a 911 call of an assault near 57th Street and Seventh Avenue outside of what authorities say appeared to be an illegal gambling operation. When officers arrived, they found three men on the ground, each with stab wounds, after they reportedly tried to rob the establishment. Cops seek robber who followed woman home in Marine Park, sexually assaulted her

Police are on the hunt for a violent pervert who followed a Marine Park woman home on Thursday night and sexually assaulted her before running off with her phone and cash, authorities say. Teen arrested for shooting young boy during unofficial J’Ouvert: NYPD

Police arrested a teenager for allegedly shooting a 6-year-old boy, his mother, and three others during an unofficial Caribbean J’Ouvert celebration in Crown Heights on Labor Day Monday. Drag race leads to multi-car pileup in Park Slope

A six-car pileup in Park Slope that sent five people to the hospital on Thursday night was allegedly caused by an illegal drag race, according to first responders and multiple witnesses.  “They were drag racing,â€� said a responding firefighter, who declined to provide his name.  Authorities arrived on the scene near Fifth Avenue just before midnight to find several damaged cars scattered in the street and on the sidewalk between Fifth and Sixth streets.  Paramedics took five people to nearby Methodist Hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to a Police Department spokesman.
