Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a believed-to-be 20-year-old robbery suspect in this photo, wanted for a June 18 robbery in Fort Greene Park.
The brazen bandit allegedly approached a 20-year-old man and 21-year-old woman who were sitting in the park, near the Myrtle Avenue and Washington Park entrance, at 1 am, cops said. He pulled out a silver handgun and said “stand up and give me everything you got,” according to a police report. The frightened friends forked over cash, a phone, a wallet, and a credit card, and the crook took off on Washington Park towards DeKalb Avenue, the report says.
